WearCo sell activewear in Norway — jackets and training wear, direct to customers.
They supplied the theme, the products and the copy. I built the store.
What that involved
Handing over a theme and a product list is the starting point, not the job. The work was turning it into a shop that actually sells:
- The full product catalogue set up with categories and variations
- A working checkout in Norwegian kroner
- Product, shop and category pages laid out consistently
- Social channels connected, since that is where their customers are
- Tested on phones, where most of this audience buys
Why a supplied theme still needs work
A theme is a starting layout. It arrives knowing nothing about your products, your categories, your currency or your shipping. Everything from how a variation is selected to what the customer sees after paying has to be set up deliberately, and most of it is invisible when it is done right — you only notice it when it is wrong.
