Expirova Privacy Policy

Expirova is a local-first expiry and renewal reminder application. This policy explains what information the app handles and the choices available to you.

Information you enter

Expirova stores the items you create, including their names, important dates, categories, reminder schedules, recurrence settings, and any optional owner or notes fields you add.

How information is used

The app uses this information to organise your important dates, calculate status and time remaining, and schedule the local reminders you choose.

Storage and sharing

Your Expirova library is stored in the app on your device. The current release does not require an account, provide cloud synchronisation, include advertising or use analytics. Android automatic app-data backup is disabled for Expirova.

If you export a backup, you choose where that file is sent or stored through your device's share controls. Exported files may contain all information in your library and are not encrypted by Expirova. Keep them in a location you trust.

Notifications

If you enable notifications, Expirova schedules reminders on your device for the dates and lead times you select. You can deny or disable notification access in your device settings. The app remains usable without notification permission.

Support email

If you choose Send feedback, Expirova opens an email draft in your device's mail application. The draft includes the app version, build number, device model and operating-system version to help diagnose an issue. You can review, change or discard the draft before sending it. Expirova does not send this information automatically.

Sensitive information

Expirova is designed to remember dates, not to act as a secure document vault. Avoid placing full passport numbers, payment-card details, passwords, medical records or other highly sensitive values in item names or notes.

Retention and deletion

Information remains in the app on your device until you archive or permanently delete an item, clear the library in Settings, remove the app's data or uninstall the app. Clearing the library also cancels reminder schedules known to Expirova. Exported backups and sent emails must be deleted separately from wherever you stored or sent them.

Children

Expirova is a general productivity utility and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when Expirova's features or data practices change. The effective date will be revised when changes are published.
